Masonic Bodies, including Boston Commandery, recognize the supremacy of the
Grand Lodge over the government of the Craft.
This is the mother Grand Lodge of the world. In 1733, The St. John's Provincial Grand Lodge, now the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, A.F. & A.M., was authorized by the Grand Lodge of England.
The Scottish Rite confers the degrees from the 4� to the 32�. The 33� (honorary) is also conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite.

of Knights Templar and the Appendant Orders of Massachusetts and Rhode Island
has jurisdiction over the following Orders: Knight of the Red Cross; Knight
of Malta; and Knight Templar
